The New Town of Viera was created as a Development of Regional Impact by the Viera Company and approved by the Brevard County Commissioners. The governmental heirarchy created by this endeavor consists of:

• Brevard County (taxing authority)
  
• Viera East Community Development District (CDD) (taxing authority)
  
• Viera East Community Association (VECA) (assessment authority)
• Individual Homeowners Associations (assessment authority)

	Board of Directors Meeting The next meeting of The Viera East Community Association will take place on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 6:00pm.  The meeting will be held at the Viera Regional Community Center located at 2300 Judge Fran Jamieson Way.
